Hannah

I am Hannah, and I run the little linen service on the ground floor of our old building, open all night. Every night I carry clean sheets to the hospital ward across town and ride home on the last night bus, whose ghost driver takes only the exact fare of her own century. I live upstairs, where the lift takes me anywhere except my own floor. I want one ride home without a coin hunt.
