I am Quirin, a retired archmage who has kept almost every spell and lost almost every hat. Every Thursday I book the great hall for my wizards' chess club, and every Thursday we overrun. In the hill town I trained the new lamplighter, mostly in riddles. At court feasts I am the second royal taster and always need one more spoon to be sure. I want one more game, then one more.
