Sitcom character
Maren
I am Maren, head of the Department of Public Clocks in our city, and none of my forty clocks has ever agreed on noon. Before I retire they will strike together. I live on the third floor of a building with no lift, where I keep the favour ledger of the stairwell to the minute, and every week I take my cat to the night clinic at exactly the same time, just to be sure.
