Accessibility Statement
Skilloo GmbH wants Skilloo — the app and this website — to be usable by everyone. This statement describes the accessibility status of the Skilloo app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, Apple TV and Apple Watch, and of skilloo.com, with reference to the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and WCAG 2.1.
What is built in
Accessibility in Skilloo is engineered per control: VoiceOver labels for controls, including icon-only controls and combined elements on composite tiles; Dynamic Type throughout, with scaled metrics on every fixed-size glyph; and contrast-corrected selection states. With Reduce Motion, decorative animation is replaced by fades, and the stage changes camera only by cuts and fades, with no more than three flashes per second. The running AI notice during playback can be paused and stays fully readable at every text size.
Content is always available in an accessible form
The 3D stage and the augmented-reality mode are additional ways to enjoy an episode, never the only way. Every episode can be read as messages in a standard, fully accessible view, spoken aloud by the app, and operated entirely through labelled standard controls. On Apple TV, the app is operated through the focus navigation of tvOS, and the messages view is available there too. If a 3D surface does not work for you, nothing is lost.
Known limitations
Two brand color combinations (the PRO badge and prominent green buttons) measure below the WCAG AA contrast threshold in default appearance. If you enable “Increase Contrast” in your system settings, Skilloo automatically switches to a measured-conformant color variant (4.77:1 in light appearance, 10.49:1 in dark). Individual 3D figures on the stage and in augmented reality are not individually addressable with VoiceOver; the messages view described above carries the identical content. The surfaces new in version 27, among them the stage, the editors, and the Apple TV and Apple Watch apps, have not yet been reviewed in a separate accessibility audit; we will add the results to this statement.
